place to trade stocks on
the Jamaica Stock
Exchange using the
internet.

certificate when I

A: When CCMB

stocks are purchased you
do not receive a stock
certificate. Your stock
certificate is held in
safekeeping for you at
the Jamaica Central
Securities Depository (JCSD).
The JCSD will send you a
statement showing how
many stocks you have and
the value of these
stocks. This information
can also be provided to
you by your stock
broker.

When I purchase CCMB
stocks, when do I pay
for them?
A: Before you can
place an order with
Capital & Credit
Securities Ltd. to
purchase CCMB stocks, we
require that you lodge
funds, equal to the
value of the shares into
an investment account.
The funds will be
deducted from this
interest-bearing account
on the settlement date,
which is the transaction
date plus three business
days.

how soon can I access
the funds?
A: In Jamaica you
can access these funds
three (3) business days
after the trade has been
executed. In Trinidad,
trading days at Monday,
Wednesday and Friday.
You may therefore access
funds three (3) business
