The HUMAN RESOURCE COMMITTEE

The primary responsibilities of the Human Resource Committee include:

  • Reviewing and approving principles and policies for employee recruitment, hiring, training and development, transfers and promotions, compensation evaluation and termination
     

  • Reviewing management succession plans for executive officers;
     

  • Participating in the final selection process for employment, promotion and transfer of Executives and Senior Managers
     

  • Reviewing and approving proposals presented by Human Resources for the employment of external consultants
     

  • Reviewing the performance of the pension plan
     

  • Reviewing the major compensation policies and making recommendations to the Board
     

  • Assessing executive incentive programmes and making recommendation to the Board.
