THE CONDUCT REVIEW & RISK POLICY COMMITTEE

The primary responsibilities of the Conduct Review and Risk Policy Committee include:

  • Reviewing the procedures for complying with the rules and regulations of the Regulators concerning 'Related Parties’

  • Establishing and monitoring procedures for restricting the availability and use of confidential information; dealing with complaints, disclosure of information to customers and resolving conflicts of interest;

  • Reviewing and approving risk principles and policies recommended by the Bank’s management, including policies concerning credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.

  • Reviewing lending and other credit policies as well as standards and procedures in respect of loan portfolio, position risk, industry concentration, foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk and other credit exposures

  • Periodically reviewing the quality of the bank's existing credit portfolio and evaluating it against the approved policies and procedures and risk determinants; and in particular determining the adequacy of the bank's credit loss provisions and significant exposure.
