Credit

the
end
of
each
year,
in
which
various
artistes
donate
their
time
and
talent
for
the
enjoyment
of
patrons,
and
for
the
ultimate
benefit
of a
specially
chosen
Charity.
All
proceeds
from
the
event
are
donated
to
that
pre-selected
Charity |

Pickney Love at Christmas 5 was even better!
The ballroom of
the Jamaica
Pegasus Hotel
was packed to
capacity, as
friends,
partners and
staff members of
Capital & Credit
gathered to
savour the feast
of speech,
dance,
instrumental
pieces and
rendition
through song
that was Pickney
Love at
Christmas 5,
2006. The event
was Capital &
Credit’s final
Corporate
Outreach
activity for the
year, with the
emphasis placed
on the Childcare
component of the
Organization’s
Corporate
Outreach
Programme.
The crowd
enjoyed the
offerings from
the children of
the Clonmel
Cultural Group
in St. Mary,
young
saxophonist
Dwayne Foster
and young
violinist Nadje
Leslie, among
other performers
from schools and
cultural clubs
across the
island. Other
outstanding
performances
were delivered
by the group One
Third, Nickeisha
Barnes, Alaine,
Wayne Marshall,
George Nooks and
veteran singer
Ken Boothe.
The proceeds
from Pickney
Love at
Christmas 5 will
go to Dare to
Care Home for
abandoned
children with
AIDS. Capital &
Credit has
supported the
Home for the
past four years. |
